WFCW Block Club Traffic Calming & Safety Committee

The WFCW Block Club is working with 47th Ward to consider strategies for reducing non-local traffic through our neighborhood. “Low-traffic” strategies have been proven effective at improving pedestrian safety and reducing crime, stress, and pollution in cities such as London.

Our Objective: To allow local traffic in and out of the neighborhood while reducing excessive, non-local “cut-through” traffic caused by commuters and rideshare drivers.
